Artcinia favorite, pianist Thomas Weaver teams up with rising star Andres Sanchez-Linares, cellist of the acclaimed AYA Piano Trio, for a program that showcases the emotional depth and technical brilliance of the cello sonata repertoire.
Anchoring the evening is Brahms’s Cello Sonata in F major, Op. 99, a sweeping and passionate Romantic-era work filled with power and nuance. The program also features Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata, known for its singing melodies and delicate charm, alongside a selection of short, virtuosic pieces that spotlight Sánchez-Linares’s brilliant technique and artistry.
