Bible and Book Studies

Serendipity Bible Study

This class uses the Serendipity Study Bible as the basis of its discussion format. It meets Sundays at 11:30 AM (after worship) in the Jennings Room, with Rev. Kevin Porter leading.

Currently, the classis studying the gospel according to Matthew. Unlike the other classes that use selected passages of the Bible to explore a particular theme, this class studies every passage in a particular book from beginning to end. This gives participants the opportunity to gain a fuller appreciation of the book and to explore lesser known passages. After coffee hour, why not bring your second cup of coffee and join us?

Young Adult Bible Study

If you are post-high school, and want a Bible study geared toward young adults, you are invited to this weekly class that meets Sunday mornings at 11:30 AM in Christian Heyer-Rivera’s office.

Readers Choice Book Club

Readers Choice is the First Church sponsored book club that meets the last Saturday of each month.

From 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM we enjoy a light breakfast and great discussion about the selected book. If you would like to participate or need more information, contact Eileen Jones 215-843-8811. All are welcome to join us!
