- Since 1969, NIM has provided Philadelphia neighborhoods with indispensable programs to aid and assist young families, their children and the frail elderly. In collaboration with staff and volunteers, NIM's alliance of congregations and faith-based partners promotes interfaith action, diversity and social justice through advocacy and service.

- Offers many of its patients their only access to health care. In addition to medical care, the clinic provides help with making medical appointments, filling out forms, finding creative ways for patients to receive costly diagnostic tests, and even dispensing medication into weekly doses for those unable to parse a month's supply.
