You have hopefully had a chance to say hello to our summer seminarian intern, Benjamin White.
Benjamin White is a 3rd year seminarian at Princeton Theological Seminary. He lives in West Philadelphia with his wife of 5 years, Gwyneth. He is a graduate of Eastern University where he studied Spanish. He is passionate about Jesus and the city and is excited to share his gifts in the mission of FPCG.
This summer he will be working with Christian Heyer-Rivera to develop “The Basement” drop in center and he will be teaching Bible Study to the Freedom School students, along with other duties including participation in our celebration of worship on Sundays.
He looks forward to meeting you all and working with our community!

African Children’s Choir
The African Children’s Choir was in concert at First Church last December. Click here to see photos from that concert. The African Children’s Choir has been working with the most vulnerable children in Africa for 26 years. Their mission was, and still is, to show the world that Africa’s most needy and vulnerable children have beauty, dignity, and unlimited ability. Each year a new choir is selected and the children from the previous year’s choir return to their homelands to attend school.
