We thank God for a wonderful turn out for our Sunday School Kick-off Party after worship on September 20th.
There were more than fifty people in attendance, many of whom were young people with their families as well as teachers and other members who were just interested in what we are planning this year.
Those in attendance had the opportunity to learn more about what we offer young people through Sunday School, who is teaching our children, and what curriculum we are using.
With our largest volunteer staff of teachers in at least five years, this year should prove to be a year for deeper connections between our teachers and students, as well as more hands and energy devoted to nurturing the faith of our young people through this ministry!
Many thanks to Stephanie Haynes for all her hard work and her outstanding leadership in our teacher training on September 19th. Special thanks to Deborah Thompson for getting the breakfast organized.
Please pray that our students and teachers as they study the Scriptures that their faith, hope and love for Jesus Christ and others may grow together!
