G-town Artists Roundtable 5/17 @ 7pm
If you are an artist of any genre who lives and/or works in Germantown, you are invited to the next Germantown Artists Roundtable here at FPCG, Thursday, May 17 at 7:00 PM.
We’re building an inventory of individuals, venues, and art treasures in our community. We’re also constructing a calendar of existing arts events while brainstorming and planning new ones.

Back for their third appearance, The Philadelphia Handbell Ensemble, led by Kermit D. Junkert Artistic Director and Conductor, will transform nearly 300 lbs of bronze into a visually and musically exciting performance.
Praised for its brilliant technique and refined musicianship, the ensemble will present a wide array of musical styles and moods.

Longtime FPCG member honored by Lutheran Seminary
Jack Asher, and his brother, Robert, were recently honored recently by The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia by being presented with the Soli Deo Gloria Award.
The award is given for outstanding leadership and service to the church and to the mission of the Seminary. Jack has served on the Seminary’s President’s Council and provided strong leadership for the organization’s capital campaigns and strategic planning. In accepting the honor, Jack noted that the Seminary was “one of the signature places that I always remember.”
