Want to find out what is happening around church? Check out the bulletin boards!
The Communications Committee has been working to make certain the various bulletin boards around the church are maintained and up to date.
Please make it a practice to view the boards where you will find much current information about the church, minutes of committees, news of members, on-going events, photos, and more.
Thank you to Dick Liberty, who has been responsible for injecting new life into these boards. He also prepared the member photo wreath on the bulletin board between the Finney and Jennings rooms - check it out if you haven’t seen it already. If you have any suggestions for improvements or inclusions for the bulletin boards please talk to Dick Liberty.

Next Saturday, June 12, the church will be represented at the annual East Falls Flea Market Day to be held at McMichael Park (Midvale and Henry Avenues) in East Falls.
We will host a table at which we will provide information to the community about First Church as well as distribute to children our now-famous balloons with the church logo on them!
Can you spend an hour during the day with your fellow members in staffing the table? (Then you can go flea-marketing yourself). Please see Ted Walkenhorst or Sam Whyte to volunteer an hour between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

We Need You!
It’s almost summer time for the FPCG choir.... the professional section leaders will be off and the Chancel Choir will be an all volunteer choir.
On Sunday, June 6th the Summer Choir will begin and we need your voice!
Rehearsals will be held on Sundays mornings beginning at 8:30 AM and ending around 9:30.
If you can’t make a commitment for the entire summer, come when you can. We will be singing music that is a bit easier than our usual fare with the hope of engaging more volunteers from the congregation.
Give David Daugherty a call at 215-843-8811, ext. 21, for more information.

Pentecost Adult Christian Education Program
Fifty days after Easter on Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon Christ’s followers and the Church was born as they spread the gospel.
In celebration here at FPCG, on Pentecost Sunday, May 23rd at 11:30am, the Serendipity Bible Study is hosting a forum for FPCG members to share how God is using their gifts for ministry in their vocations and service beyond the congregation.
The Serendipity members will be providing refreshments, so plan to have your second cup of coffee after coffee hour with us in the Jennings Room.
**Please note the Nehemiah Bible lesson for the week will be at 8:45 AM that morning.
