There are a number of upcoming events at FPCG to help make you a better steward of your financial blessings, both personally and as part of a church family.
1. Financial Peace University: Nancy and Kevin will be co-presenting a 13 week financial management curriculum, Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm beginning February 23rd.
The course is designed to help participants understand their finances in the context of the stewardship of God’s gifts, with the goal of helping students eliminate their debt, improve their relationships, and gain control of their finances. For more info, please contact or the .
2. Church Finance Workshop: Have you wondered about how our church “manages” the many gifts we are blessed to receive that support our mission? The Administration & Finance Committee is pleased to help answer this question through quarterly info meetings focused on various aspects of church finances. The first seminar will be held on Sunday, February 21st after the worship service, and will last for about 45 minutes.
There are no prerequisites, readings or homework - come and try it out! There will be reference information provided at the meeting for your further review as well as people identified that can provide specific information to you. For more info, please contact Jim Thompson
