Faith in Christ Brings Joy
A Note from Peter Hill
Longtime FPCG member Peter Hill recently passed away and was celebrated during worship on Sunday, January 15th.
But he wrote a note to the church that was published in our January WINDOWS. We wanted to share his letter with you as an encouragement.
In Peter’s words , “I plan to continue till He takes me home. I am filled with joy because I know Jesus is always with me.”

My life has changed a lot in recent months. I am aging a bit (80 years) and my breathing has become very restricted with any physical effort, even with a lot of oxygen. However, the Lord has blessed me abundantly by allowing me to get out in my car and carry on a little business.
I don’t have to leave the seat of the car. The suppliers bring the food items out to me and put them in the truck and the customers come out to me and take their order. It’s really neat. I’ve learned to adapt, so that I can be reasonably active.
I have said to many people that as long as the Lord allows this, I plan to continue till He takes me home. I am filled with joy because I know Jesus is always with me.
